I’ll admit it- sometimes I read foxnews.com. Not usually for the articles, though. I get that information from other sources. I read foxnews.com for the comments on articles.
After the president delivered his state of the union address, foxnews.com put up a story that “fact-checked” his speech. It’s hard to say “fact-check” without quotes when they are using lines like “most-likely” and “almost no chance” and citing absolutely zero sources for statements like “making multibillion-dollar deals with …. Behind closed doors”.
But we’re used to that. It’s foxnews.com, and they’ve got a president to bash. Do your thing, fox. But what about the comments?
A sampling from the 10 comments I actually bothered to read:
“Com’on big O, lie to us baby. Ahhhh we just love it when you lie to us. Lies lies lies. Whisper more and more lies into our ears big O. Ooooohhh baby, we just love your lies.” I wonder if this commenter is a republican or not. Hmmmm…
“Obambi is a lying idiot. I just wish he’d resign - he’s sooooo far in over his pathetic - lying head its not funny.” The sheer number of names people have called the president is staggering. Do people realize that they just sound like a schoolyard bully when they say things like that?
“so obama inherited this economy? how did it start? fannie mae and freddie mac? who was involved with that? barney frank? chris dodd? hmm..maybe obama himself? that started this freefall in our economy..nuff said” I love, LOVE, conspiracy whack-jobs. I bet this guy doubts Obama’s citizenship as well.
“He and his left wing loonies have NEVER participated in business, don’t understand business, and therefore HATE business. It is beyond hillarious how lost and foolish they are.” This is a credible claim. I mean, it’s fairly obvious that no democrat has ever participated in business. Based on that clear assumption, it’s also obvious that they don’t understand business. Based on THAT clear assumption, I can totally understand the logic of concluding that democrats therefore HATE business. It most definitely IS “beyond hilarious(sic)” how lost and foolish those democrats are.
Ahhh… my day is brightened. Thanks, foxnews.com!
